A psychovocational assessment can help with vocational planning and consists of identifying your:

  • Learning style and academic skills
  • Intellectual abilities
  • Vocational interests
  • Transferable skills

A psychovocational assessment may benefit you if you are:

  • Exploring potential careers or vocational training options for the first time or after time away from work
  • Unable to return to your previous work
  • Looking for a career change

Recommendations for strategies and/or accommodations to address barriers to employment or training, as well as suggestions for suitable jobs and/or training programs are provided to support employment success.

The psychovocational assessment may also be combined with formal assessment of learning disorders, ADHD, or mental health, if indicated.
